Dubai’s theme parks
Enter the world of action and animation
Lights, camera action: Hollywood comes to life at Motiongate Dubai, located in Dubai Parks and Resorts.
This thrilling theme park features epic rides and attractions based on some of the most memorable and successful movie franchises of recent years from mega studios Dreamworks Animation, Sony Columbia Pictures, and Lionsgate. The three join forces to create one giant, magical park.
Just a few Hollywood favourites featured include Ghostbusters, Kung Fu Panda, The Hunger Games, The Smurfs, Shrek and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.
Strap in for a ride on some adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters such as The Green Hornet’s High-Speed Chase and the Madagascar Mad Pursuit, or drop-down vertically in the high-speed Zombieland Blast Of.
For those wanting a little less extreme but still entertaining experience, explore the Backlot Tour. You can see how these amazing movies go from being an idea to a premiering motion picture. Or, check out a show at the Kung Fu Panda Academy or Operation Penguin Shake.
Every day you’ll find a great schedule of entertainment, many of which invite you to take part onstage. You can also meet your favourite characters in real life and grab a photo to take home.
Explore the ultimate kid’s theme park in the region
Children are in for treat at Legoland Dubai. A world of intrigue awaits for families with children aged 2 through 12 at this amazing theme park.
Go on adventurous rides and rollercoasters at Legoland Dubai and discover building experiences and interactive play across different lands.
You can also build cars and race against friends and family with Lego cars, or take building to another level with robotics at Mindstorms. Looking for adventures? Jump the thrilling rides in this world, like the Lego Technic Twister which will make you spin with excitement. Or, see the entire park from above on the Kid Power Towers.
There’s also plenty of fun and learning at Lego City, where becoming a fireman or getting a driver’s license is exclusive to kids. Of course, seeing how Lego is made in the factory and a detour to Miniland (where children will feel like giants) is a must.
